Family League
It’s back for Summer 2024/25, here’s what you need to know.
PURPOSE: The purpose of family league is to have an opportunity for the kids to get more game time under their belt and to have them out their having fun with their parents and carers.
COMPETITION INFO
• 15 week, round robin competition
• Round 1 - 7th Oct || Final Round - 10th Feb || BYES 23rd/30th Dec 2024, 6th/27th Jan 2025
• 2x 20-min halves (5-min half time)
• 6:30pm start time
• Completely unrelated to the Junior and Youth Stars program*
• $40 per player*
BRIEF RULES
• Maximum of two adults (14+ youth; born 2009 or earlier) on the field at once
• Adults (14+ youth) can not score tries
• Adults (14+ youth) line breaks can not exceed 10 meters or enter in-goal area
• Kids drop passes (receiving or making) count as a touch
• Kids under 10 years (born 2014 or earlier) wear a bib (tries count as 2-points)

COST
The $40 player fee simply covers the cost of referees and equipment.
*Each player will also be required to pay $42 which is an affiliation fee ($22 TFA, $20 TFWA) paid once per player per 1 July to 30 June year and includes injury insurance cover. Any adult playing in a Social Competition team or youth involved in the Juniors or Youth Stars program will only pay this once - so we envisage most players will have already paid this.
We require a minimum of four teams for this program to go ahead. Please register or reach out early with your queries to help us assess its viability.

Team Registration
Register your team for the 2024/25 Summer Family League.
No team fee is required at the time of registration. A minimum of 10 players registering is preferred, and the team need to wear a uniform (same colour at a minimum).

Your team must already be registered!
If you team captain has registered your team then ask them for your team link or click the link below and search for your team name in MySideline. Registration is $40 per player.
